Parental controls

I need a program that will give me a time-out each time I visit Facebook rather than doing actual research or writing.  Clearly, I am not disciplined enough to avoid it on my own.

Maybe there is a FaceBook quiz for that. Or maybe you could create a top 5 list for FB based on your inability to leave it alone and get your research done.

You will get tired of it eventually. When I first got on FB I was there all the time. Now I only check in a couple of times a day and usually for only a couple of minutes.

Renee...a couple of times a day is still a lot. I thought you were going to say you check it once a week.

Let's take a poll...I've been telling Lorykc to take her blog throughout the years and make a book. I know there are a lot stories there about army life, marriage, and kids. Sounds like a best seller to me.

As far as facebook...I love the fact that you're on there so much visiting us and viewing the videos of your nieces and nephew!

Lory, I'm sorry if I kept you from your work. I enjoyed talking to you, but I know it can be addicting!

When you figure it out, pass it on. I resisted that place for a long time. When I get roped in, I try to limit myself to weekends on Facebook, but I have been known to sneak back a time or two during the week.

I've been neglecting my blog and facebook, lately.
The book?
Oh yeah! I've actually written a little more and have much more editing to do. (I know---I've posted that before--but there is a little light at the end of the tunnel!)
Unless it's just facebook, winking at me, calling me...
