You just never know what is going to come out of a child's mouth. Especially when that child is three years old. And you know, sometimes words have two meanings.
"Mom, I used to be a star!"
I smiled. (Usually people much older than three are the ones making that claim!) "Really?"
"Yep. I used to be a star. But now I'm in a kid."
Oh!

I love it! I'm enjoying my 11-month-old's babyhood, but I admit I'm looking forward to all the cute things that she's going to say. Kids are so astute sometimes and they have the quirkiest ways of looking at things.

Absolutely! This little guy is my third but I still have not learned how to think like a three-year-old! They are always coming up with something I'd never expect!
