I am a bit off-balance!

I've already mentioned the stretching but I thought my expanding torso was less alarming when covered up. Apparently, this is not the case.

This morning I smiled at a perfect stranger.
"When is your baby due?" she asked.
"Halloween."
"You have that long to go?"
I nodded.
"Are you having twins?"
"Nope--just one boy." I'm still smiling.
"Wow!"

Still smiling/gritting teeth...

I'm sorry...I had an old coworker who thought we wanted to hear about how big we were getting...She herself did have twins, but I didn't want to hear EVERDAY how big I was! Just enjoy the belly, you won't have it for too much longer :)

Man! I remember comments like that. The worst was the woman due three weeks before me who was about half my size! Once I made the mistake of having a baby the same time as my sister-in-law (a twig). I got so sick of hearing how ginormous I was and how she barely looked pregnant. Good that you're still grinning. Some people just don't have a clue.

Oh, I remember getting those comments too. Both of my girls were over 9 lbs. at birth and I'm a short person so the only place they had to go was out.

Gritting teeth is about all you can do.

Hehehe, I remember my own September being pregnant - Squirt was due on November 2. I was ginormous, especially for my first child. I waddled all over the place.
