Here I go, again.
I am going to give NaNo another go.
For those of you who have been long-time visitors, you may recall that I have never finished the 50,000 words in the 30 day time period.
So why do this, again?
It can't hurt. Maybe this will be my year! I'm actually getting a little excited about it--but that is most likely because it is not November, yet.

Okay, you've twisted my arm ;-) I'm going to go for it this year, too. I haven't tried this since 2001 or so. I can't remember how well I did. I'm signed up as goobmom23.
I'm wishing you luck (again!) :) I actually saw something about NaNo on Ellen or Oprah a while ago, and thought about you. They were saying that the person who did it, actually was published even though they've been writing for a while on their own. Sounded familiar. I can't remember if I had told you about that or not. Anyway, good luck!
