The twelfth day

For my mom, who used to celebrate today, and Ukrainians who are celebrating today---Merry Little Christmas!

It is also the Feast of the Epiphany, the 12th day of Christmas and for some people--the beginning of Carnival season! (Put the advent calendars away and start counting the days until your favorite Mardi Gras Krewes start rolling!)

The sun is shining here; there is not a cloud in the sky! My daughter's sleepover guest has gone home AND they actually slept last night! It is a good day!

I hope you all have a reason to celebrate today!

Merry Little Christmas to you all as well. We saw Mom and Dad today for M's birthday party, so that was nice. I'm glad your day is going well.

I just heard the report from the b-day party! It sounds like you all did do some celebrating today as well!
(Sorry M's aunt is behind AGAIN on bday festivities!)

It's a wonderful day here as well. All children are actually laying down and sleeping. Other than night time, I couldn't tell you the last time that happened. Plus the wife is asleep and the house is open. It's almost like spring.

GG,
Wow! Your post says 1:40PM so you aren't just up before everyone! That sounds heavenly!
I'm glad you had a good day and quiet time to yourself--and I'm glad to know my sis gets naptime, too! ;)
